Newhouse + Noblin LLC.

Category: In The Community

The founders and recruiters of Newhouse + Noblin are active members in their respective communities, neighborhoods, schools, and churches. As a firm, we have a commitment to volunteer or make a monetary donation every month to a cause we care about. Whether it is making 500 sandwiches for the Soup Mobile in Dallas or collecting books for Houston school children, we feel it is important to share our resources. Some of the amazing charitable organizations that we have the privilege of supporting are highlighted below.

Houston In-House Roundtable

Our Houston office hosted a roundtable breakfast discussion on March 20 geared towards junior and mid-level attorneys who are considering a path towards in-house legal leadership.  The discussion centered around the experience and wisdom of three impressive leaders:  Dave Cooke (ARM Energy), Fermeen Fazal (Universal Pegasus International), and Veronica Foley (Precision Drilling).  Thank you to our leaders for sharing their advice and guidance and to our attendees for their thoughtful discussion and enthusiasm!

Next-Gen Legal Leaders of Houston

We were thrilled to officially launch the inaugural class of the Newhouse + Noblin’s Next-Gen Legal Leaders of Houston last week.

We have an amazing cohort of thirteen in-house attorneys who are certain to continue to achieve amazing things in their careers.  Our year long program offers a formal four-part series on important topics to help ensure success at the senior leadership level, as well as informal events to build networks and make connections throughout the year.

The kickoff was a breakfast focused on peer networking.  A special thanks goes to our fabulous presenters, Precious Owodunni and Rosa Maria Villagomez from Mountaintop Consulting!  And to our class members:  we can’t wait to spend this year working with you and watching all your future successes!

Dallas All Stars Project

Newhouse + Noblin proudly supports the Dallas All Stars Project, an Afterschool Development Program.  This innovative program is redefining what afterschool is and how to measure its success by encouraging development through performance, enabling youth to recreate their own lives with a new vision and the tools of the Dallas business community.

Hurricane Harvey

Newhouse + Noblin has contributed to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts through donations to the American Red Cross and the Coastal Bend Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund. Our thoughts are with all affected by this disaster, especially our clients and friends in the Houston area.

Children’s Assessment Center

Newhouse + Noblin was thrilled to provide back to school supplies to the Children’s Assessment Center for the group’s back to school kick off this month!  CAC provides a safe haven to sexually abused children and their families – a place where they can receive the kind of care and treatment they so richly deserve.  More information at:  http://www.cachouston.org/

My company has relied on Newhouse + Noblin with great success, but I can further speak to the reputation and character of Russell Newhouse. I’ve known Russell for 20+ years, starting as a colleague in the law practice and carrying through to the present as a go-to service provider. I can always count on him to be professional, honest, and responsive. When I have occasion to suggest a legal recruiter, I confidently recommend Russell.
