NEXT-GEN LEGAL LEADERS OF HOUSTON

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Newhouse + Noblin’s Next-Gen Legal Leaders of Houston program is designed for those individuals viewed by their peers and supervisors as being on the cusp of senior leadership positions. The goal of the program is to arm the next generation of Houston’s legal leadership with the skills to find and excel in positions of authority in in-house legal departments.

The program is a one-year commitment with an event each quarter. Events focus on the importance of a peer network, accounting basics for lawyers, a business leader’s expectations for their general counsel, and leadership principles.

REQUIREMENTS

Class members must commit to attend all four events. Each event will last approximately two hours. A full schedule will be provided with the application.

IMPORTANT DATES

November 15, 2018—December 1, 2018:      Nominations accepted

ADMISSION

So that the class members can get the most out of the program, the class size will be limited. Candidates must be nominated by a peer or superior. Once a candidate has been nominated, a short application will be completed. From the application pool a class of future legal leaders will be selected.

To nominate someone, please send an email to Alicia Hinds at ahinds@nnlegalsearch.com or Beth Walker at bwalker@nnlegalsearch.com with the name, position held, and email address of the nominee.

Executive Assistant

Newhouse + Noblin is pleased to announce the placement of an Executive Assistant with a publicly traded beverage conglomerate.

It was truly a pleasure doing business with Kelly. It is rare to work with a firm and a person who is and has been on top of this project from the first email. She was a great partner and it is rare to find that kind of diligence in the world of recruiting.
