Kristin Johnston

Kristin graduated from SMU School of Law in 2002, where she was involved in the Student Bar Association. She also earned her B.A., cum laude, in Public Affairs and Corporate Communications from SMU’s Meadows School of the Arts.

Following graduation from law school, Kristin began her legal practice with a national firm as a litigation associate and later joined an insurance coverage boutique, where she was actively involved in firm recruitment activities. Kristin also spent two years in-house with the Professional Liability Division of Great American Insurance Company. After assisting with recruiting responsibilities throughout her legal career, Kristin decided to resign from practicing law in 2009 to focus on professional recruiting. She has placed attorneys, compliance professionals and other executives in permanent in-house positions across the country. She also helps corporate and law firm clients with high-level contract attorney, contract manager and paralegal searches. Her previous law firm and in-house experience has provided her with valuable insight that clients and candidates trust.
