Lauren Swann

Lauren graduated from SMU School of Law in 2003, where she was an Editor of the International Law Review and a member of the International Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology and business from the University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated with honors.

Lauren practiced law for 15 years before joining Newhouse + Noblin.  Lauren was Counsel at Haynes and Boone, where she provided legal services to a broad range of clients, from publicly held companies to smaller business entities. She served as counsel to several public and private companies regarding corporate securities, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions and public and private securities offerings. Lauren was consistently involved in recruiting while at Haynes and Boone and is actively involved in the Dallas community at large and non-profits.

Having extensive experience at a prominent law firm and in serving both private and public clients provides Lauren with a valued perspective and insight into both our clients’ and candidates’ needs in the corporate arena.  Her ability to connect and engage with people facilitates insightful discussion and clear communication throughout the search and candidate development process.
