Crystal Cornett has over 18-years of experience in the legal industry as a paralegal. She earned a Paralegal Certificate from University of Houston in March 2006 and received her degree from Center for Advanced Legal Studies in 2010. She is a member of the Lambda Epsilon Chi National Honor Society for Paralegal / Legal Assistant Studies (LEX). Crystal has practiced in Family Law, Probate, Guardianships, Health Law, Social Security, heavy litigation in Intellectual Property and Bankruptcy, and residential and commercial Real Estate. Crystal also serves on the Paralegal Advisory Committee (PAC) for Center for Advanced Legal Studies.
In 2013, Crystal created Paralegals Connect, a paralegal support group, to connect paralegals from around the world to receive employment advice and to learn to streamline their tasks and work quickly and efficiently. Paralegals Connect consist of over 31,400 members worldwide, is on all social media platforms, and produces the Paralegals Connect Magazine. In 2022, Crystal began paralegal recruiting as a way to continue her passion to support the paralegal community.
