Alexis Johnson

Alexis handles law firm and in-house searches and has an exceptional record of successful placements and very happy candidates.

Following graduation from law school, Alexis worked as a real estate and finance associate for Vinson & Elkins and Carrington Coleman. After extensive travel to work on international transactions, Alexis retired from practicing law to focus on recruiting. She initially worked with Kelly Noblin at Major, Lindsey & Africa and later joined Newhouse + Noblin.

Alexis graduated summa cum laude from SMU School of Law in 2001 where she was a Hatton W. Summers Scholar, a member of Order of the Coif and on the SMU Law Review Association. She earned her B.A. in History, with highest honors, from the University of Texas at Austin where she was awarded a Terry Foundation Scholarship.
