Christa White

Christa is a trusted advisor dedicated to providing thorough market guidance and career advice to associates. She has developed close client relationships, providing in-depth consultation on associate retention, compensation structure and succession planning.

Christa was a criminal litigator for over 13 years, initially as a criminal defense lawyer, and then as a district attorney in Calgary, Alberta. She specialized in complex and technical trial work, detailed resolutions and appellate advocacy.

Christa found her true calling in legal recruitment. She first joined The Counsel Network in Vancouver, British Columbia and joined Newhouse + Noblin in 2021 when she moved to Houston.

She graduated from the University of Alberta Law School in 2003, where she led a team of students providing legal services to low-income clients, for which she received the S.C. McGoey Memorial Award. Christa previously received her Baccalaureate of Social Science from the University of Ottawa, graduating with distinction cum laude.
