Laurie Flood

Laurie specializes in law firm searches, working with firms of all sizes, including AmLaw, mid-market, and boutique firms. She has a strong track record of successful placements and satisfied candidates.

After earning her law degree, Laurie began her legal career as a litigation associate at a premier Dallas-based law firm, focusing on securities litigation and arbitration. She later took time off to care for her young children before resuming her practice at a boutique firm and then joining Hunton & Williams, where she spent over four years as a civil litigator. In 2019, she transitioned from practicing law to becoming a legal recruiter.

With six years of experience in legal recruiting, Laurie has successfully placed candidates in both law firms and in-house roles.

Laurie earned her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law in 2001, where she was actively involved in Moot Court competitions. She also holds a B.S. in Economics with Financial Applications from Southern Methodist University, which she obtained in 1991.
